KLIKPV contains KPV (Lys-Pro-Val), the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Each pen contains 10mg/2ml. Despite being only three amino acids, KPV retains the anti-inflammatory activity of the full α-MSH molecule. Research demonstrates it inhibits NF-κB signaling, reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine production (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β), and has antimicrobial effects. Studies focus on gut inflammation (IBD models), skin inflammation, and wound healing.
